Griha Pravesh (Vastu Shanti)

🌅 Pre-Entry Preparation: Stand at main door with family. Husband holds kalash with coconut, wife holds lighted diya, children carry fruits/sweets. Check muhurat exact time. Break coconut at threshold (removes obstacles).

👂 Sacred Entry Sequence: Wife enters first with right foot saying "लक्ष्मीं प्रविशाम्यहम्". Husband follows with kalash. Children follow with offerings. Never look back after entering. Place kalash in Northeast, diya in puja room.

🥛 Milk Overflow Ceremony: In kitchen, boil milk with sugar, cardamom, tulsi. Let it overflow in Eastern direction (knowledge and growth). First overflow = prosperity, Second = abundance, Third = sharing with world. Mix overflowed milk with water, sprinkle in all rooms.

🏺 Vastu Purusha Invocation: Draw 81-square Vastu Mandala on floor (or simplified 9-square). Place kalash in center (Brahma's position). Invoke 45 deities in different directions. Offer flowers chanting "वास्तोष्पते ध्रुवा स्थूणां सत्रं सख्या". Request permission to live peacefully.

🪐 Navagraha Pacification: Place 9 small kalashas or colored clothes representing planets. Offer specific items: Sun (wheat), Moon (rice), Mars (red lentils), Mercury (moong), Jupiter (chickpeas), Venus (white beans), Saturn (black sesame), Rahu (black gram), Ketu (horse gram). This harmonizes planetary influences on home.

🙏 Deity Installation: Install Ganesh-Lakshmi in Northeast puja room. Ganesh removes obstacles, Lakshmi brings prosperity. Also place Vastu pyramid or yantra. If possible, install Tulsi plant in North/East. Create small altar with family deities.

🔥 Vastu Havan: Perform with 108 ahutis minimum. Use samidha (mango wood), ghee, sesame, barley, durva grass. Chant "ओं वास्तुपुरुषाय विद्महे" with each offering. Smoke purifies subtle atmosphere. Family members offer together for unity.

💦 Complete Space Purification: Mix Ganga water with tulsi, turmeric. Sprinkle in sequence: Main door, all rooms clockwise, kitchen, bathrooms, storeroom, terrace. Chant "ओं अपवित्रो पवित्रो वा" for energy cleansing.

🧂 Energy Grid Setup: Place rock salt bowls in four corners (absorbs negativity, change weekly). Hang toran on doors. Place rangoli at entrance. Install wind chimes in North (career). Keep crystal in Southwest (relationships). These create protective energy grid.

🍚 First Meal Preparation: Cook sweet rice (kheer) as first food - represents sweet beginnings. Must use new utensils. Include all six tastes (sweet, sour, salty, pungent, bitter, astringent) for balanced life. Family eats together facing East.

🙏 Brahman Bhojan & Blessings: Feed minimum 5 brahmins (representing 5 elements). Offer dakshina with betel nut (completion symbol). Seek their ashirvad (blessings) touching feet. Their satisfaction energizes the ceremony.

🎁 Charity Distribution: Donate items representing abundance: grains (food security), clothes (dignity), books (knowledge), lamps (light), money (prosperity). This creates positive karma for new home.

🌙 First Night Protocol: Entire family must sleep in new home (claims ownership energetically). Keep one lamp burning all night in puja room. Place water pot near head while sleeping (protection). Dreams on first night are significant - note them.
